Ship Hull Section Transport
Project Description
A ‘First of its kind’ shipment of 2 ship hull sections weighing 1750 kgs each was successfully completed by Super Freight in 2011. This was featured in the Heavy Lift Magazine (http://ow.ly/r4QI5). Our scope of work included engineering, planning and execution of sea fastening, roll-on cargo at Yantai Port onto suitable barge, securing on board, complying with marine warranty surveyor requirement, shipping & tacking cargo from Yantai to Dabhol, berthing ship alongside at Dabhol to floating dock and rolling off cargo from barge to floating dock.
